There is also a no-sugar-added vanilla option for those with dietary restrictions. In addition, Dippin’ Dots offers catering and the ability to purchase goods online. If you’re planning on throwing a party, consider buying in bulk and having the Dots shipped to you on the day of your event.
Joining the Franchise
If you’d like to open your own Dippin’ Dots franchise, it would be wise to save up before doing so. The initial franchise fee is $15,000 in the United States, though this varies. Also, it is a requirement that the applicant has five years of experience within the food industry.
There are three different types of venues offered within the Dippin Dots franchise team: product placement, event, and stationary location venues. The Franchise Disclosure Document must be reviewed upon opening a venue along with specific qualifications. Sales, cost, income, and profit vary by the type of venue and location of each franchise.

Here are the steps to becoming an international Dippin’ Dots licensee:
- Download the franchise request form, which can be found on the Dippin’ Dots website.
- Next, you’ll have a phone call with the international team.
- After the phone call, you’ll submit your business plan and cash flow model.
- Visit the corporate headquarters located in Paducah, Kentucky to meet with the international team in person and (hopefully) gain their approval. If all goes well, you will sign a letter of intent.
- Final execution of the licensure agreement.
Dippin’ Dots has international franchise locations all over the U.S., Canada, Costa Rica, Chile, Russia, Japan, Taiwan, Philippines, South Korea, and Australia.
